Good Fun Workout - no equipment required

This is a simple work out to start off with if you haven't worked out for a bit. The focus is on functional fitness (fitness for daily activities). Functional exercises can be done every day.
Always work out to your ability and adjust (or stop) any exercise that is hurting you.
Have some good fun and put on the tunes below. Pair this with a walk or some trips up and down the basement stairs. 10 of each, with the whole set as many times as you like. You want to feel at least a bit of a burn. Sit downs - similar to a squat, stand in front of your couch or a kitchen chair with feet shoulder width apart and lower yourself down to almost sitting then raise up Sit ups - an old faithful. If needed, put your toes under the front of your couch for stability Push up - do from your toes, from your knees or standing and doing them against the wall. Remember to keep a straight line from the bottom point to your shoulders Lunge - Step forward with one leg, lowering your hips until both knees are bent at about a 90-degree angle, if you can (or as low as you can comfortably go). The upper body is straight with chest forward - think headlights 😀 Twist - getting into a sit up position with your fingertips touching. Rotate at the hip, putting your fingertips first to one side of your body then the other
